Aroma: citrus and tropical fruits, intense hops. Appearance: hazy dark gold, small to medium head. Taste: light bitters and sweets. Palate: bitters getting more pronounced, tropical fruits again. Overall: decent IPA, but not quite premier league. Pint at the Evening Star, Brighton. viktorvee (510) - Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 1, 2013
Keg at Old Fountain. Fully flavoured - excellent. Sticky and sweet in the mouth, with a good mouthfeel. Quite assertive and complex with caramel, grainy and woody taste, some leafy off notes, almost like rotten mangos. Quite flat. Good work. Keg at the Old Fountain - London. Pours lightly hazy, deep gold with a small, creamy hed. Lots of dank grapefruit in the nose, some mango and other tropical fruits. Medium to big sweet flavor, lots of rich and juicy grapefruit, mango, bubblegum, some yoghurt, tropical fruits, mild pune and grass. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sticky, juicy citrus hops to finish, dank and resinous, more tropical fruits and bubblegum, fuher suggestions of yoghurt (perhaps of the cherry variety), grass, light dirt. It’s a really juicy, punchy IPA. Not especially subtle but very drinkable. madmitch76 (25230) - , Essex, ENGLAND - MAY 18, 2013

Old Fountain. Keg. Clear amber beer, good off white head. Palate is smooth with a minerally carbonated nip. Light fresh orange, trace of hop skunk. Touch of tinned mango. Good malt cream base. Finishes minerally orange with a mild fresh hop sting in the aftertaste. Decent and drinks well below it’s abv.
Keg @ The Fox. Rare live rate. The pour’s hazy amber orange with a tiny white head. The Aroma’s of cheddar cheese, apricots, coniferous woodland, very sweet mango fruit leather. The taste is resinous pine, moderately bitter. Quite a sweet body. Marmalade and ribbon candy. Somewhat yeasty, cheesy on the finish. Overall, decent. Maybe a bit too cheesy for my tastes.
