Hazy amber color; nice lace. Nice hoppy aroma. Good malt taste, dry, with excellent hopping, resiny, powerful and elegant.
Richly earthy, woody note.............................................. DSG (15301) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - APR 7, 2011
Bottle. Beer of the month club. Hazy amber color with a big bubbly white head. Citrusy hops aroma with some pine needles and a bit of slightly biscuity malt. Bitter hoppy flavor with a bit of malt sweetness and caramel. Strong, lingering, slightly spicy, bitter piney finish with some grapefruit. Medium-bodied. Not bad, but quite unbalanced. Bottle from Kingdom Liquors. Lubiere (14182) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 12, 2006
Poured hazy copper color with a large frothy off-white head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy sour citrus hop and earthy malt aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft citrus. Moderate bitter flavor with a moderate bittersweet finish of medium duration.
Very good brew.
A dirty hazy amber to brown IPA with a thin off white head. In aroma, a sweet malt aroma with with citrus hops, and signs of oxidation. In mouth, a nutty malt with stroong grapfruits notes, veering on astringent and bilous, lingering in mouth, overpowering the malt... a bit too much for my taste. Medium bodied.

Carbonated orange body with big-bubbled tan head. Aroma is fairly intense grapefruit hoppy. Taste is basically the same, with good bitterness and not much else. This is the sort of beer that I find really hard to rate -- it's not a great beer, but I love a grapefruit-hoppy beer. bu11zeye (13239) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - DEC 9, 2010
(12oz bottle, courtesy of Cavie) Pours a lightly hazy orange body with a small off-white head. Aroma of caramel, grass, and spruce. Flavor of caramel malt, grass, and some citrus with a dry, bitter finish. hopdog (13102) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 26, 2005
Bottle acquired in trade with SpringsLicker (thanks!). Poured a dark amber and cloudy amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of flowers with some citrus. Tastes of grapefruit with some oranges and a little fruity. Starts out lightly sweet and ends with a nice hoppy bitterness. slowrunner77 (12997) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 16, 2014
"Not bad, not great. Nicely balanced caramel and biscuit malt, and citrus and piney hops. nothing really pops, but it’s pleasant to drink. perhaps a well made starter ipa?" Sammy (12846) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 6, 2007
Grapefruit colour with large creamy head. Very smooth to drink, bitter with a bit of vinegar, hop noticeable and resin as well as grapefruit, all toned down by malt. Medium mouthfeel, although creaminess arising through the malt.
