Bottle at home from backlog notes. Pours a clear amber color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma and flavor have pale toasted malts, grassy and herbal hops, a splash of grapefruit peel, a hint of caramel, pretty basic and unexciting, no reason to repeat. Bomber I brought back from GTMW. Bottle says it is 7.0 ABV. The beige head falls down on itself making an interesting layer. The beer is dark amber and clear. I smell caramel first. It also has a bit of cinnamon spice. A bitter bite hits early and resembles grapefruit but no citrus followup. A little pine emerges. Caramel is sweet. Not a top shelf IPA. dchmela (3088) - Orlando, Florida, USA - MAY 14, 2015
Thanks to Jeff for the bottle. Light brown pour with a thick creamy head. Herbal hoppy aroma. Big malt body with a noble hop bitterness. Tasty. jb (3454) - Rochester, New York, USA - MAR 5, 2015
Nose is heavily caramel, and malt dominated. Mouthfeel is IBU central. Mostly pine resin type, full dry body. Decent, a bit different than the same old same old citrus IPA currently in vogue. Thanks for the trade Ron. Ron (4262) - Rochester, New York, USA - JAN 23, 2015
Bottle that Brian brought back from Cape cod and had in his fridge last 4 months. Pours a dark amber color with a white head with spotty lace. The aroma is hoppy, with pine and resin. The taste is pine and citrus hops with some bitterness. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. It was good after a run.

Thanks to Marko for one of these. A mild, sweet IPA with some caramel flavor & a nice aroma. Very pleasant. slowrunner77 (13206) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 16, 2014
"Not bad, not great. Nicely balanced caramel and biscuit malt, and citrus and piney hops. nothing really pops, but it’s pleasant to drink. perhaps a well made starter ipa?" CObiased (562) - Bayfield, Colorado, USA - JUN 17, 2014
It pours a nice cloudy golden ale color. A mellow and balanced hop profile match the malty body for a well rounded IPA. Obviously not a west coast IPA but rather a Massachusetts hop ale to hold its own. Bebum (1125) - Massachusetts, USA - MAY 10, 2014
Clear amber, tall head.
Medium body, well balanced mouthfeel, rich, intense but simple flavor, long palate.
Very bitter and dry, despite maltyness,
Hoppy but not in an American way, malty, floral, herbal, hint of grapefruit.
A balanced and intense IPA, just not a lot of personality.

UPDATED: MAR 6, 2015 This is a nice IPA. Pours a light mahogany, somewhat amber color with off white head and very little lacing. Lemon, straw, citrus notes on the head. Pine, resin, hints of caramel, mild bitterness make for a really nice beer. It?s actually less hoppy than I expected, making this IPA unlike other hopped up ales.
