This beer is a good Dunkel if you like your dark beer not to be too malty and more like the eastern Tmavy type beers. Almost a brown Helle my friend said when drinking this. So true - but not without strength and a decent aftertaste.

UPDATED: APR 3, 2015 500ml bottle (Irlbacher Bar, Riga) (6:4:6:4:12=3.2)
Very sweet malty caramel aroma, but they seem to be reinheitsgebot. Taste also sweet and malty. Quite simple, and directly related to the beer ingredients. Finish is where it gets interesting, first some husks, then liquorice, then seared-pork hops. Goes down rather well, covers 5.8 more than adequately, though sweetness hints to strength.
Rerate: 500ml bottle (Alust Tirgus, Riga) (6:4:6:4:13=3.3)
Pruney aroma. Extremely husky and walnutty taste and finish. Bran too. Papery from the bitter hops. Nice drunkable dunkel.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein dunkelbraunes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch röstmalzig, Karamell, leicht würzig. Geschmack angenehm röstmalzig, leichte schokoladige Noten, leicht würzig.
