Pils and Bayern usually do not mix. Having this in mind - this is however a relatively good Bavarian Pils that is almost as herbal as its northern counterparts. Very drinkable and a good beer to end the night - Especially at the Böhmerwald Parkhotel with Andreas!

Blond color. The aroma has some grassy hops, the mouthfeel is dry, but the flavor has traces of wet cereals or corn; quite strong bitterness though.
Simple Pils.

pivnizub (10514) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - JUN 29, 2014
Golden, small white head, clear; an illusion of dry and grassy hops in the grainy and a bit medical nose; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, pretty light bodied; slightly lingering bitter-herbal and pale-malty finish.O.K.; nothing special…

Clear fairly drinkable decent quality pilsener. Mostly malty with OK grassy hops for balance. Some fruitiness. Sweetish with not so intense, but kinda harsh bitterness. Decent, but bit boring

Bottle. Light golden, small to average and mostly diminishing head. Light to moderate, malty - grainy and sweetish aroma, faint bread and faint grassy hoppyness. Body is light to medium, malty – grainy and sweetish flavor, light bread and faint hoppyness. Finish is short to average, malty - grainy and lightly sweetish, light bread and faint metal, light grassy hoppyness. Watery and grainy pils with notes of bread. Too sweet for pils (and too little bitterness).
