It is what it is. Not very good at all. At least it's not made in steel cans anymore. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle pours golden, white fizzy head. Typical adjunct pittsburgh piss. Metal, corn, slightly sweet, light body.

Leafs93 (2343) - Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 14, 2015
Pours gold with a medium white head. Aroma is corn and grass. Taste is sweet with a very faint bitterness. Light bodied.

Scuzz Twittly said it best when he crooned: "Iron City is shitty and the town smells like a turd/when you see black and gold just flip em the bird". It’s true. and who am I to disagree with Scuzz? No muy amigo, avoid this, like you avoid sobriety. Head to the warm loving embrace of Blatz....which is ALL that is right in this world. It is what it is....and shall be....or not.

alobar (3915) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 1, 2015
Pours a transparent straw yellow color with a creamy white head. Aroma of corn, bread, and not much else. Corn malt flavor with some skunk, and grain. Meh, but it could have been so much worse.

bth122 (1646) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 20, 2014
From a can. Clear golden color with small head. Aroma of some grain and corn. Tastes like steel city and Mon river water. Not bad but not good. Average carbonation. Slight metal. Gotta support the Yinzer beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can - Light and watery taste. A slight bite but not from hops. More malt flavor but not sweet either.

BVery (11361) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - NOV 10, 2014
Bottle from Binny’s in Schaumburg, IL. Clear pale gold pour with a small white head. Corn, very light, mild carbonation. Exceedingly dull, but not offensive either.

ordybill (1815) - Douglasville, Georgia, USA - SEP 21, 2014
Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. Aroma-Grain is the predominant scent, I could not detect anything else. Appearance- This beer is a clear yellow with a white head Taste- Strong flavor of corn and malt, not terrible but not world class Palate- Medium bodied with a lot of carbonation Overall- barely average to me, but I am not from the local area for this brew. I hear this is held in reverence in Pittsburgh.

Beerathon (1681) - Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 7, 2014
It is what it is, typical adjunct lager. Corn malts, slightly sweet, hops are nonapparent, pretty blah. But hey, i was in Pittsburgh.
