halfonit (1392) - Fall River, Massachusetts, USA - AUG 26, 2017
Pours a murky dark golden color with hardly any head. Aroma is of malt, figs, prunes, booze, yeast, and citrus. Smell reminds me of a Quad. Bubbly, yet heavier palate. Flavor is of malts, caramel, prunes, plums, figs, grapes, and bitter fruits. Leaves a tart dark fruit and yeast finish. Interesting.

Bomber bottle. Highly carbonated off big white head (rocky), cloudy gold/amber. Spicy nose. Alcohol is present but otherwise right in line with a strong golden ale, a bit more malty tho.

"750ml bottle - Aroma - apple juice, cloves, and yeast Appearance - hazy golden body, 3-finger white head, above average retention, good lacing Mouthfeel - prickly, alive, full carbonation, medium bodied Flavor - sweet, dried apricots, yeasty and medium spice, creeping alcohol Overall - solid BSA. Reminds me in some ways as Duvel...just a little.

"I didn’t get much of the brewer’s description save for a little bot of fruitiness. Again. no belgian yeast presence. this was more barleywine-like than bsa to me."

Elwood (3336) - Leesburg, Virginia, USA - SEP 22, 2014
Serving: Bottle. Light amber pour with a rather large, light tan head. Simple Belgian yeast esters with a bit of candy sugar sweetness. Light honeysuckle, golden delicious apple, candy sugar, and a little cotton candy on the tongue. Slick mouthfeel. Not bad.

Boutip (6483) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 9, 2014
Bottle: Poured a hazy orange color ale with a rather large foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of heavy residual sugars with some Belgian malt notes and some honey and pear notes also noticeable. Taste is also dominated by heavy Belgian malt with quite a bit of residual sugars with some pears and honey notes. Body is full with limited filtration and no apparent alcohol. Enjoyable but like most beer from this brewery I think it could do with more attenuation.
