3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours a glowing pink tinted orange color. Cloudy appearence, medium carbonation. Head is soapy and thick with great lacing streaks. Aromas of earthy hops and grass, orange peel, sweet malts, and bread. Taste is a little hot with flavors of honey, orange cirus, spicy hops and some belgian spice. Bitterness is perfect for this imperial ipa.
I’ve expected big things of Iron Fist but this delivers. Pine and citrus on the nose, and though the taste. Sticky but not too overwhelming for the palate. I can do it! Craftbrewhaha (80) - - OCT 1, 2015
I’ve been waiting to try an Imperial IPA from Iron Fist for a long time and I was not let down. Huge hop aroma, great malt backbone, hidden ABV. Big citrus, juicy, slight pine. Dangerous beer in the best sense of the word. Loved it! Paigeturner (101) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - JUL 8, 2015

From a bottle. Big biscuit aroma and huge hop flavours with a thick mouth feel, pine finish. It’s a very big beer and not for the faint of heart. ben4321 (6840) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - JAN 24, 2015

Aroma: It has a fruity aroma, a bit of astringency/cleaner, with resin and pine coming through later
Appearance: It pours an unclear orange color with a small beige head and some spotty, coating lace
Flavor: Flavor-wise, there’s a decent hop bitterness, slightly astringent, with a mild sweetness
Palate: The body is medium, it has a soft-to-average carbonation, and a rather dry, astringent finish
This is an alright DIPA, but it falls short for me. The hops and hop flavors are not all that well rounded. I found it a bit too flawed. Too much astringency. Still, its a decent beer, but in this style, it is on the lower end for me.
Pours a pale, hazy orange with a good lasting head and a Sweet malty aroma. It has a velvet texture on the tongue and has massive hop finish with big hints of pine accompanied with slight roasty characters. Get a fist in ya! jandd1983 (4690) - Wentzville, Missouri, USA - OCT 23, 2014
It poured a cloudy brown color with an off-white head. The aroma was moderate to heavy earthy hops. The taste was medium to heavy hoppy bittersweet with a good bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. Very tasty.
