COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In case you’re one of the 3 people that haven’t figured it out yet, we at Iron Fist are fans of everything unfettered by and silly notions of "tradition". So our latest insurrection is a two-for. We brewed a huge Belgian style Trippel and hopped the (expletive deleted) out of it. Being the counterculturalists that we are, we decisively chose to use the finest imported European hops we could get our hands on rather than the ubiquitous West Coast style varieties. We even threw in some varieties so new they still have that new hop smell. A robust malt character helps balance this truly one-of-a-kind brew.
Brewed for KnB Wine Cellars 3rd Anniversary.

Citrus and floral hop aromas. Spicy. Orange or tangerine like flavors, hoppy and malt balanced. Hot. Juicy. Red apples.

750ml capped bottle pours a pale amber orange color with a 2 finger white head that has some decent retention and lacing. Aroma is fruity and floral with some yeasty notes. Taste is a fruity and malty sweetness with a citrusy and floral hop bitterness. Medium bodied with generous carbonation leaving a nice tingle on the tongue. Easy drinking brew despite its huge 12% ABV.

Not horrible, not bad. But, not really different than any other Belgian IPA. Lots of hop profile, and a very dry flavor.

Bottle pour dark gold with orange highlights. Nose dank hop and some Belgian candy sweet, overall mild nose. Taste bubble gum sweetness, light spice, dank hop. Mid palate sweetness with late grainy malt. Light spicy bitter finish.

Big beer. Bubblegum lemon pine and very fruity overall. Wheaty beer taste that I don't like. Poured from 22oz bottle from Blackwell. Overall enjoyable.

1/17/14. Shared at Proof by Tim, I believe. Orange pour with a small khaki head. Rich aroma, sweet, resiny hops, fruity, citrus and orange peel, sweet caramel and maltiness. Flavor is basically on par, a touch sweet and malty for my current tastes, plenty of fruitiness from the hops, dank. Not bad.

DuffMan (10451) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 27, 2014
Bottle, shared with Parksy and Grippitis. Very hazy deep golden body with a thick towering white head. Pale biscuit malts with a touch of barley candy, tons of citric bitterness--like crunching into a kumquat!-- with herbal, medicianl notes as well. I found this one a little harsh, especially in the finish.

Poured a hazy Orange color with a thin off-white head. Aroma has some tart yeast notes with fruit Taste is very smooth and creamy with lots of fruit and oranges. A good amount of hops that give the finish a nice hay flavor.

I love this beer. Belgian style trippel with some good hops but not overly done, very well balanced. The beer does a great job masking the 12% alcohol. If you can get your hands on this you are a lucky person

rbrazell (1698) - Florida, USA - FEB 3, 2014
Bottle shared at Proof. Amber colored pour with a bubbly white head. Resiny, fruity and sweet malt aroma. Flavor is similar, warm, resinous, deep maltiness and fruity. Medium thickish body with alcohol.
