COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
You know the expression, "A Velvet Glove and an Iron Fist"? It was coined to refer to a regime that used a soft exterior to hide its punishingly unforgiving nature. This seems an apt description for our Velvet Glove. Its placid appearance and unparalleled smoothness hide the truth; this is one fiendishly strong stout. Rich, chocolaty espresso dominates the flavor profile, with a velvety smooth texture that will haunt your senses.

Bottle. Pours a pitch black body with a medium creamy light beige head. Nose is coffee, dark chocolate, cocoa, mild alcohol, licorice, hints of leather and espresso. Taste is chocolate, coffee, grains, dark malts, licorice and hints of alcohol and ashes. Full body, medium to high carbonation. Fair enough imperial stout; kinda "common" but still tasty.

Exceedingly good. Only short fall would be the nose. Hides alcohol content very well. Wouldn’t hurt to be a tad more bitter.
