Draft at IHP-ville American Revolution event. Poured hazy caramel colored with off-white head. Nose was caramel and wheaty malty, heavy hops. Tasted rich, very malty, with a big hop finish and an overall smoothness. keepersj12 (3117) - Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA - APR 21, 2013
Pours a clear amber with a white head. Lots of bread in the aroma along with some citrus. The flavor has a nice sweet malt beginning with th bitterness coming later. Not as strong as expected but very well balanced. closey22 (1952) - Mt. Laurel, New Jersey, USA - APR 19, 2013
Pale amber with lasting white head; slightly hoppy aroma and hints of copper; Flava really kicks it with Floral hoppy grainy spicy notes finishing into bitter and dry; feels crisp clean and refreshing but not light and watery pineypower (3335) - Ocean County, New Jersey, USA - MAY 13, 2012
Rating #1800. Pours out a nice, well carbonated copper color with a moderate off white head. Aroma is of pine, juicy citrus hops, light sweetness, grain and some alcohol. Taste is of juicy, oily citrus and pine hops, some caramel, rye, bready notes, alcohol, sweet sticky malts and a nice hop bitterness round this one out. Lots going on here...

In short: A typical caramelized, fruity and grassy IPA. Good beer, slightly above average for the style
How: Tap at brewpub, Maple Shade location, NJ
The look: Clear golden body topped by a long-lasting small white head
In long: Nose of dank fruity hops. Taste has a good amount of typical toasted caramelized malts followed by a generous amount of fruity and grassy hops. Bitterness level is medium-high. This was a competent IPA even despite an overall dank basement sensation. I see that this is currently classified an American Strong Ale here on ratebeer, whatever, to me that was a 6.5% IPA, that’s my opinion and I stand by it. And for the record I hate when people end their ratings with "And for the record…" to get their point across.
Sampled a year ago at Maple Shade and left with a growler. Poured amber with white head. Aromas of malts stood out but not overpowering. Flavor is strong and grainy some hop comes through dmac (6272) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - JUL 22, 2010
Draft at Maple Shade. Poured a clear amber slight orange body underneath a foamy bright white head. Aroma was strong on citrus notes and hops with some undertones of dough, caramel, grass and earth. Medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavor is citrus hops and bread but with a touch of earth and grass. Interesting beer that was worthy of a second serving.
