Pale amber body, moderate sized white head, streaky lacing. Mostly citric hops and soft caramel and bready malts. Medium bodied, appropriate carbonation, moderate bitterness, pleasant finish. Decent, but lacking depth. User37895 (3085) - - JAN 7, 2012
Growler same day fill from Wilmington location. Amber pour w nice head, decent lacing. Aroma of citrus, earthy hops, caramel. Flavor followed, earthy hops the flavor, bitter bite very welcome. Mouthfeel moderate with good balance and body. Nice regular old pale ale. Goodgrief (2071) - Middletown, Delaware, USA - JAN 7, 2012
Amber, copper color pour, moderate head. Caramel malts, lots of it. Bready and toasty. Pretty high level of hops and bitterness. Hoppier than the Scrooge IPA. MrChopin (4305) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - DEC 18, 2011
Tap at Wilmington. honey orange-amber, thin white lasting small bubbled head. Nose is light tea, wood, cardboard, marshmallow, bit of chemical and light diacetyl. Flavor is similar, burdensome body bringing undesired sweetness in caramel, orange candy, Graham cracker, tea bitterness following sugar through mango finish. Heavy and sweet, dull and a chore. IH Wilmington: Draft. Brewed by Andrew... Homage to an old school pale ale. Light orange in color, decent head fluffy white head. Decent hoppy nose. Taste is a simple pale ale... lightly hopped well balanced, body on the lighter side. Nice session brew... should of brewed in in the summer. Overall: Cool name, nice pale ale!
