From bottle, blind tasting at Papsoes - beer no 1. Pours hazy orange/brown with a diminished head. Alcohol and dried fruity aroma, solid malt base and medium dry. Flavour is bit dead. Has some malt and a slice of malt. Some oldish drid fruit and a rising bitterness. Slight alcohol heavy and malty finish. Ungstrup (37633) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - NOV 3, 2007
Bottled. An amber-red beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is very sweet with notes of overripe fruits, berries, and alcohol - from the aroma my guess was that this beer was a Barley Wine (it was tasted blind). The flavor is sweet with notes of berreis, and over ripe fruit, and the alcohol leaves a slight burn on the tongue, but the body is thin. It is weird with the thin body and the pronounced alcohol presence. Thanks Papsø for sharing. joergen (28151) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - NOV 12, 2007
