Pours a clear golden color with a medium white head. Aroma has nice tropical fruits...mango, passionfruit...some peach...nectary...nice yeasty spice. Flavor follows suit...light nectary/sweet fruits, good hoppy bitterness and nice peppery spice. Hazy golden yellow pour. Esters and piney citrus hops in the nose. Flavor follows, everything you’d want in the style, spicey elements, phenolic character, American assertive hop finish. On draft at the Newatrk location. Pour was golden with decent carbonation, could have been a tad more hazy. The aroma was strong grassy wheat, straw, and phenolic esters. The flavor followed and the grassy hops were excellent to balance out the bready, phenolic belgian tripel base. A nice touch to their normal tripel! Mouthfeel carbonated and sparkly, good stuff.
on tap-pours a white head with slightly hazy yellow color. Aroma is soft light fruit, some light malt. Taste is some spice hops, rock candy, light malt.

On tap at newark.... Poured into a snifter, clear golden orange color, decent head. Strong lacing left on the glass. Looks really good. Aroma of sweet hops and candy sugar. First taste was like drinking kool-aid with to much poweder mix... Super sweet... as it warmed some hops came through but just way to sweet. I know tripels are sweet but this was too much for me. On tap at Newark Brewpub. Pours a hazy golden yellow with a one finger white head with long retention and some lace. Aroma was a lot of citrus and floral hops with some sweet fruit in the back. Flavor follows the aroma with some mild graininess in the middle. The alcohol is well hidden keeping the flavors balanced throughout. Cleaning up my notes....from about a month ago. Pours out a nice clear golden color with a small white head. Aroma is of sweet apple, light spice and a touch of citrus hops. Taste is complex, sweet apple, pear, some light spice notes and a little bit of lingering alcohol and citrus hops on the finish. Big fan of the Americanized Tripels.
