Brewed in the tradition of an English bitter, you're hit with a wonderful malt flavor and distinct hop character from a generous amount of Kent Goldings.

w/ Uncle mark @ iron hill in Jersey. Stylistically it seems off of the classic English bitters. Not a bad brew though.

4 oz sample at Iron Hill Maple Shade, New Jersey. The pour is clear golden with a small white head. The aroma is cracker and crystal malt, touch of dry floral hops. The taste is the cracker toasty malt, with crystal iced tea flavors. The floral aspect gives some bitterness to the finish. The palate is light to medium bodied, fine carbonation, and a mineral iced tea finish. Easy drinking, solid ESB.

UPDATED: DEC 28, 2012 On tap at the lancaster pub. Clear orange in colot. Slightly fruity on the onset, enjotable effect. Yes, a tad bitter but has all the good mild mannered attributes of a well behaved english bitter. Not bad overall. that fruityness really adds a friendly aspect to this brew. Nearly flat on the palate. Medium lenght bitter finish. Its anem makes you think it would be harder hitting than it really is. Not as dark as pictured here.

Dorwart (2607) - Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA - AUG 28, 2012
Good sized frothy white head of fine bubbles that settles slowly. Dusty malt aroma with some fruity hops and a hint of grainyness. Color is a bright copper orange. Thin body of biscuity malts up front followed by a strong floral hops presence and bitterness. Bready malts show up lae swallow again. Finishes with some crusty bread, and a lingering dry bitterness. Easy drinking with a nice hoppy bitter profile.

Jesterdeal (1985) - Marlton, New Jersey, USA - MAY 6, 2012
Nice yeasty aroma with some floral and corn. Pours with a nice bubbly head. Taste is a little grain heavy with floral notes. Finishes with the yeast. It’s ok.

Leafs93 (2332) - Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 17, 2012
Pours copper with wispy white head. Aroma is caramel and grass. Taste is slight bitters with more sweetness then expected.

MrChopin (4304) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - DEC 18, 2011
Tap at Wilmington. transparent amber-gold, thin white ring surrounds oily top, lacing all over. Watery nose of grain, light crust, and bubblegum. Flavor is similar, more bubblegum, apple, and corn sweetness through finish following light butter and biscuit that makes an oily glide across mid-palate.
