"Old Tom Barleywine" - Had a 4 oz sample from their sampler (so not the best foundation for a review)...but I thought this was very good. Strong alcohol aroma but the taste was surprisingly smooth...especially compared to the other barleywines I’ve had. They do it right at Iron Hill. Very good...I’d have this one again. shp555 (2024) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - SEP 10, 2007

From a corked magnum. Deep Amber reddish orange with thin semi Lacy beige head; aroma is so complex a blend of tart yeasty fruity malty woody notes; Flava is mild malt soft yeasty tartness notes of molasses; feels medium foamy very effervescent but soft and leaves a nice tingle in the tongue; finishes semi tart and malty sweet bready like buttered toast wetherel (1882) - Cupertino, California, USA - MAY 3, 2008
Growler from egajdzis, Thanks Eric. Dark amber color. Good carbonation. Growler filled to the brim. Mild aroma with malt. Heavy body. Sweet. Tastes good, but young. Needs some age. I bet the barrel aged version of this is awesome. kiefdog (1826) - Tampa, Florida, USA - DEC 17, 2008
