At Media location. Orange, amber po ur. Huge citrusy, spicy nose. Flavor was intensely hoppy with herbal, earthy flavors. Spices and zingy. You can really taste the rye. Really grainy as well. Kind of a large mish-mash of flavors, maybe one too many. Either a rye IPA or a Belgian IPA, but both made this a little chaotic tasting. abcfan (920) - New Jersey, USA - APR 7, 2011
Decent brew. Pours amber-orange with a white head, leaves decent lacing behind. Aroma of sweet citrus hops and candi yeast. Easy to drink, smooth spiced finish. Jesterdeal (1985) - Marlton, New Jersey, USA - APR 3, 2011
Aroma of pine. Appears deep red. Tastes of pine, floral, and yeast. Feel tingling from carbonation. Very tasty. DocLock (10726) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 10, 2011
Draft at IHP/ Pours hazy dark straw with off-white head. Nose is hops, pale malt, slight funky yeast. Tastes hoppy with a rock sugary and slight funky finish. Smooth and enjoyable. blipp (9374) - La Mesa, California, USA - DEC 1, 2010
Growler at Paul’s tasting. Shared by Dmac. Pours amber brown with an off white head. Nice citric and spicy hop aroma with some lighter belgian yeasty notes. The flavor has citric, almost piney hops, sweeter malts, belgian yeasty notes, and a moderately dry and bitter finish. Solid.

Growrler at Paul’s tasting. Pours a clear brown amber. Big earthy hops, malt and a faint hint of Belgian yeast. Sweet caramel and spicy malt in the body. Sweet and toasty, a little more caramel on the finish. Dickinsonbeer (5074) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - NOV 28, 2010
Growler from Dmac- Maple Shade, NJ location. Looks mostly clear medium amber with a nice lingering off white sticky head- good lace. Aroma is balanced between big fruity esters from the belg yeast, and also good big fruity citrusy american hops- simcoe, and centennial like- piny, tropical fruits, grapefruit, etc. Flavor is good caramel malt backbone, - clean light sweetness, some toffee, then Belgian yeasty phenols and esters, raisin mixed with big citrus and pine hops- clean yet somewhat abrasive tacky hoppy bitterness in the end. Pretty good. dmac (6339) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - NOV 11, 2010
Draft at Maple Shade. Poured a clear deep sun burnt orange/copper body with a smaller foamy white head. Aroma of hoppy citrus uhm...hops, lemon zest, Belgian yeast and some old flowers. Medium bodied with lively carbonation and a short lived aftertaste. Flavors of old flowers, lemons, yeast, citrus hops. Falvor on this one is better then the aroma and this is failry solid. pineypower (3344) - Ocean County, New Jersey, USA - FEB 28, 2010
Tap at Maple Shade, under the name "Digression". Pours out a light copper/Amber color with a moderate white head. Aroma is of some spice, fruit and slight citrus hops. Taste is fruity yeast, slight spices and some nice citrus/pine hop notes creeping in there. Always like these hybrid styles, but I almost found myself looking for a little more hops. Decent, belgian IPA a nice style counterpoint to many of the hop monsters out there these days. One of the better of the sampler I tried. For this area though, you have to do yor homework to compete with Flying Fish in this area.
