Growler from Maple Shade drank during RBSG ’11. Poured an amber body with a small tight foamy white head. Aroma had a constant touch of slight acidity about it along with rye, lemon, lime, spice and toast. Body was medium with softer carbonation. Flavor of slight roastiness, citrus, spicey rye, chocoalte. Meh okay but not Chris’s best. TURDFERGUSON (4058) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - JUN 9, 2011

Growler at RBSG Philly 2011. Pours a clear amber with no head and big carbonation. Nose is off with mild nail polish remover and acetone. Fermented bananas and heavy phenols come through over the acetone. Taste is bitter with sweet, overripe bananas. Very phenol heavy. Finishes tangy, sugary, heavy. Ick.

Growler on the RBSG bus trip. Pours copper orange with an off white head. Rye malty aroma with spicy yeast and a hint of hops. The flavor has a rye malty base, belgian yeast, flowery hops, and a nice dry finish. Not bad. User37895 (3042) - - JUN 4, 2011
On draft mid out-and-back bike ride at IH Media. Poured a nice crystal amber orange color with steady mellow carbonation bubbles rising. The aroma was yeasty, citrus hops, spices. The flavor was belgian yeast and malts, rye bite, phenolic spicing character, faint fruity esters. This was one of my favorite brews I’ve had at IH so far. Really great combination of rye bite, phenolic yeasty spices, and firm citrus hops. Mouthfeel was full and hearty, very refreshing.
