37.5 cL hand bottled, courtesy of Storm. Pours cloudy orange with a small and diminished white head. Mild spiced and honey herbal aroma. Spiced and dense yeasty phenolic. Dense alcoholic too. Ends spiced and phenolic. Too dominant on the phenolic notes for my liking. Ungstrup (37558) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - NOV 1, 2008
Handbottled. A hazy golden beer with a thin biege head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of wood, lactic acid, and flowers. The flavor is sweet matly with notes of lactic acid and fruit. Thanks Storm for sharing. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - OCT 25, 2008
(Hand bottle 37,5 cl) Courtesy of Storm. Hazy golden with a rough white head. Spicy bourbon aroma with some fruitiness. Surprisingly light-bodied with sweetish fruit and bourbon accents and a distinct alcoholic finish. 201008 hopdog (12510) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 1, 2008
On tap at the Phoenixville location. Poured a medum and cloudy golden color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of bourbon, fruity (apples skins), wood, and very light spices. Tastes of vanilla, wood, bourbon, fruity, and lighter spices. Light alcohol in the finish. DocLock (10683) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 21, 2008
Wow, what a nice beer this is. Pours ruddy dark strawish brown with fluffy off-white head. Nose is candi sugary malt, white pepper, heavy oaky bourbon, hops, fruit, some yeasty florals. Palate is very complex with a solid heft. Nice rock sigary maltt mathced with yeasty esters, some earthy notes, and a very assertive bourbon element that doesn’t overpower the beer, but rather accompanies it in a very bold way. This is an outstanding brew.

Cloudy golden with medium off white head. Sweet floral aroma with honey and spicy notes. Sweet and spicy flavour with yeasty and alcohol notes. Alcohol burn in the finish. 3fourths (9341) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - AUG 5, 2008
Lightly hazed gold colored body. Hugely sharp bourbon-vanilla nose, really difficult to get past, but it’s actually quite nice... some honey sweetness and candy sugar buried beneath this hugely sweet vanilla-scented bourbon nose, but it doesn’t turn me away. Flavor is pasty and yeast heavy, some sharpness as well, alcohol easily noticed, and it has the distinct flavor of Irish whiskey, of all things... when warmer there’s more vanilla, candy sugar and true bourbon integrated with this Irish whiskey note... nice overall, warming. egajdzis (6561) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 28, 2008
UPDATED: SEP 9, 2008 Poured a lightly hazy golden color with a small, white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of vanilla, citrus, coriander, yeast, bourbon, and some plastic. Taste of citrus, earthy yeast, some spices, vanilla, light bourbon, and a dry, alcohol finish. Various batches of this come off very different. ganache (5896) - New Jersey, USA - DEC 29, 2008
Draught at the West Chester location. Hazy golden pour, lacing white head. Aroma of apple juice, white grapes and white wine, woody bourbon. Heavy bourbon taste, only mildly restrained alcohol in the lightish body. Fresh flowers, a little vinegar, apple juice. Doesnt stand out much for bourbon beers, bourbon dominates the lovely tripel character a bit much, still good. michael-pollack (4959) - King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 15, 2009
Draught at Phoenixville: Aroma of yeast, light bourbon, and light pale malts. Poured amber/gold in color with a tiny, off-white head that lasted around the edges. Very hazy. Sparkling. Cloudy. Flavor of vanilla, spices, yeast, light alcohol, butterscotch, and slight yeasty spice. Medium body. Average texture. Average carbonation. Vanilla and bourbon finish.
