Draft. Very sweet beer. Not as flavorful as the best of the pumpkin beers, eg. Pumking or Sam Adams Fat Jack. Needs less sugar, more pumpkin and more spice.

On draft at Iron Hill Voorhees. Poured a clear dark amber color with a small foamy off white head. Aroma of sweet grain, earth, cinnamon, clove, and caramel. Taste is much the same. Tap in Voorhees. Deeper copper than the Pumpkin Ale, into brown with a short white head. Relative to the standard Pumpkin Ale, focuses much more on the sweet Belgian yeast, some mineral content. Cinnamon-clove-allspice-nutmeg, lighter body with yeast slime, some etoh poking out along with minimal fusels which blend nicely with the clove. Strangely enough, I taste less actual pumpkin in this than in the standard Pumpkin Ale, which may not have any at all!
Tap at Maple Shade. Pours lightly hazy amber with a small, fizzy white head, short retention with spare lacing. Aroma is Belgian yeast esters and spices, biscuit and cookie malt, chocolate and brown sugar. Flavor is malt dominant with spices, pumpkin, light hops and bitterness and a sweet finish.
