Draft at Maple Shade. Murky variegated brownish amber color, medium tan head. Aroma of lightly spiced brown bread, banana. Taste is banana and clove bubblegum. Decent.

On tap at the North Wales location. Poured a medium and cloudy brownish color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of wheat, some cloves, and lightly fruity. Tastes of wheat, spices, bananas, and some chocolate.

Draft at North Wales. This was one of the highlights for me. Poured burnt sienna with medium off-white head. Aroma of malt, heavy nuts, corn flakes, and caramel. Firm, dense palate with a complex malt, nut, toffee, cabernet taste. I found this to be exceptional.

UPDATED: AUG 7, 2005 Poured a hazy copper color with a small off white head and some lacing. Aroma of wheat, roasted toffee, some nuts, and light banana. Much of the same, sweet caramel, lemon, tropical fruits, nuts, and wheat in the taste.

dmac (6337) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - OCT 10, 2009
Draft at Maple Shade. Poured a rather ugly muddy light brown with a quickly and totally fading of white head. Aroma was a marriage of chocolate and wheat that has been muddled with a light touch of green banana. Body was a little to lively for my taste with lots of bubbly carbonation and a medium body. Flavor was wheat, chocolate, slight earth mixed in and a hint of clove. Solid beer that was refreshing despite it’s ugly appearance.

ganache (5955) - New Jersey, USA - AUG 9, 2006
Draught in Newark. Bubblegum, wheat, cloves, slight dark malt. Cloudy amber brown appearance. Murky bubblegum, wheat, dark malt in the taste…muddy feel. Chalky smooth coating. Overall, about what is to be expected of the style (and I’m not a fan).

Pours a hazy amber with a creamy head. The nose is very big on the banana clove combo, yeasty, wheaty, all of the typical weisse aromas concentrated. Flavor also shows lots of banana, estery, yeasty, clove, wheaty. Soft smooth mouthfeel.

Pours a murky amber/ruby with a medium white head. Aroma has fruity note...banana...and clove....some bubblegum. Flavor follows suit...not overkill on the banana...nice amount of spice. Mouthfeel is medium/full and silky with a finish that reminds me of Juicyfruit chewing gum a bit.

Poured a cloudy and brownish yellow color with a small head that dissipated while drinking. Lacing was consistent throughout. Aroma was nutty, wheaty, and slightly fruity (maybe bananas). True to the Bavarian style of wheats. Sweet malty taste behind the wheat base. Enjoyable, but nothing to write home about.
