Medium sized beige head, decent retention and lace. Hazy brown, ruby hued color. Nose is spicey at first leading to some caramelly, chocolatey, fruity aromas as well as some berry notes. Med/full body, palate coating with a soft carbonation. Medium sweet malts up front, chocolate, caramel, some brown sugar notes with a hint of plums and raisins, sorta grainy as well. Finish is lightly sweet malty and spicey, some licorice notes as well. Bottle supplied by Robert @statelineliquors Thanks dude!!

Taste courtesy SoLan. Pours a muddy brown with a thin tan head. Malty caramel sweet and candy sugar aroma. Sweet malty taste, lots of candy sugar, with citrusy hops and just a hint of apple. Very good big beer, yet dangerously drinkable.

Bottle from the Wilmington brewpub. Pours dark brown with a thick tan head. Aroma of sweet candi sugar, soda, dark fruits. Flavor of roasted malts, toffee, soda, lots of malt, and yeast. Thick mouthfeel. Decent quad, but I think I would have liked this fresher. 7/4/7/4/15 (3.7/5)

Pours dark brown with a thin tan head. Aroma has soft dark fruits of fig and plum with a bit of roastiness And faint leather. The flavor has similar fruity notes up front before roasty malts give way to notes of cocoa and mild earthy bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium and silky with a dry, earthy/leathery finish. Tasty!

At the 07 RBSG grand tasting. Fizzy brown head over a brown beer. Nose of corriader and cat box. Sweet grains, ripe plum, raisen toast and juicey friut sweetness. It bloomed as it warmed. Interesting beer, but I wouldn’t call it a quad.

Appearance: Pours an opaque brown body with a fizzy, medium-sized off-white head. Smell: An aroma that’s mostly chocolatey and fruity, but also having hints of spice, candi sugar, and a whisper of yeast. Taste: Quite sweet with tart, fruity flavors of bananas, cherries, and plums. Hints of chocolate, ground spices, and dark candi sugar. Slight yeastiness. Light floral hop taste, but no real bitterness. Warming, candied finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Some creaminess to the mouthfeel. Drinkability: A decent, Belgian-minded beer from Iron Hill.

Bottle from axilla. Pours dark copper with a fast fading head and a small ring of lace. Nose is bubblegum, banana, plums, sugary malts, and alcohol. Flavor has more banana, dark fruits, roasted malt, candied malts, and alcohol. Warm, slightly hot finish as is commercially described.
