Tastes of malt, light cocoa, tart cherries, light wood, light funk, yeast, slight vinegar, oak, and sour fruit. Medium body. Tingly, then dry texture. Average to lively carbonation. Malt, tart fruit, oak, cherry, light funk, slight cocoa, finish is dry.

boFNjackson (4230) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAR 9, 2012
Bottle... Poured dark reddish, mahogany with a thin head. Total copper, metallic bomb. Tasted like blood and minerals. Some sourness and but all went back to the copper flavor. Some other dark fruit and oak notes too.

3.6
reggiedunlop (3726) - The dub c, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 13, 2012
Pours dark brown with ruby hues and a thin tan head...good lively appearance. Aroma has some sour cherry, balsamic vinegar notes, a bit of a belgian candy sugary sweetness, and a touch of leathery funk. Flavor is more sour and less sweet than the aroma suggests...nice musty leather...a tad bit vinous and oaky. Mouthfeel is light and silky...a bit thin...and the finish is dry with leather and cherry.

750 thanks to watson1977. Pours a brownish red with little head even though I can see the carbonation. Vinegar. Cherry. Very pucker like. A bit of that Supplication aroma going on. Very nice.
