25.3 oz bottle. Burgundy brown with a lively beige haze. Nose is earthy cherry and raspberry; lightly sour and woody with a hint of toffee. Juicy medium body with a tang. Taste is dull cherry, oak and red wine. Long dry finish with raspberry preserves. I thought with the wine barrel aging this would be too sour but actually adds another layer of tart complexity. madsenbryg (371) - Holstebro, DENMARK - OCT 15, 2011

Bottle @ Morten minus Peter smagning, Ulfborg. I believe this is an old batch. Pours unlcear brown with a small off white head. Tart yeasty and vaguely oxidized nose and flavor. A bit of funk, oak, fruit, cherries and cellar. Ends dry.

hazy bronze, tiny off white bubbles for a head. sour cherry and vinegar nose. flavor is cherries, vinegar, skunky malt. light bodied, sweet finish. a fruity ale that can use a bit more malt influence. still a decent brew. dmac (6497) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - SEP 16, 2011
750 ml cork and caged bottle from IH Maple Shade. Poured a clear dark brown with a small foamy light beige head. Aroma of vinegar, sour cherry skins, acidic. Flavor of vinegar, cherry and wood. Medium to fuller bodied with average carbonation and a burning acidic finish. Once again IH kicks ass. PhillyBeer2112 (2903) - Oviedo, Florida, USA - SEP 4, 2011
Oaky barrel funk at first whiff. Some cherry pits. Nice and sour but a little dry, with a light palate. Hints of dry cocoa powder. Overall pretty nice but a touch on the thin side. Cloudy copper color.
