On tap at Iron Hill Brewery. On par for style. Good carbonation. Good banana and clove taste.

raymow (1732) - Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 18, 2014
on tap at Maple Shade - a nice, typical hefeweizen. Cloudy yellow in color with a refreshing, wheat beer taste. What you would expect.

callmemickey (4561) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 15, 2014
Clear golden-straw colored body, medium sized white head and soapy lacing. Soft, lightly sweet wheat, banana, a touch of citrus and mellow clove. Classic profile that is mellow but flavorful. Medium bodied, moderate to gentle carbonation, fills out and slows down after a few slips... reflecting the slightly too sweet body. Solid overall.

boxofrane (2553) - Spring City, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 10, 2014
Draft at the brewpub. Pours hazy yellow with a medium sized white head. The aroma has typical banana and clove, semi sweet. The taste is banana forward, a bit of lemon and pepper.. Fairly sweet. Refreshing.

keanex (1799) - Atco, New Jersey, USA - OCT 19, 2013
On tap at Iron Hill Vorhees.
Appearance: Milky golden-amber body, completely opaque, with a creamy white head.
Aroma: Sulfur and hints of lemon.
Taste: Light lemon, some wheat, no banana or clove.
Palate: Creamy bodied, medium to high carbonation.
Overall: Not a hefeweizen I’d like to drink again. No yeast character.

w/ Uncle mark @ iron hill in Jersey. Styllisticcally typical - solid hefe but nothing exceptional.

Sammy (12610) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 7, 2013
On tap at Maple Shade location. Peachy aroma more than banana. Yes banana in taste as promised, but also some sweet infused taste including pineapple that tasted too good to be intrinsic. On the sweet side, as a purist, it’s clean notes, but somewhat too magical fruit for the style.

Banana aroma, lots of lace. Sour. Weak for style because of mouthfeel, acidity, lack of full flavour. Taste like it sat around, but it could not could it. More German line for Pennsylvania expansion.

BiddleBrau (1221) - Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 18, 2013
On tap at IHNW. Hazy golden thinner white head. Standard banana clove aroma albeit light. Flavor is spicy, a bit more than normal with less banana profile. Somewhat drier finish.

Macegan75 (848) - Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 19, 2013
Draft at Phoenixville, Pours cloudy beige with little head that fades quickly. nose is green plantains, hints of aldehydes and yeast. first sip is similar but under whelming. finish is mild tartness.

hivemind (919) - New York, New York, USA - JUL 29, 2012
Flight @ Iron Hill Newark on 6/24/2012. Pours a dark piss and retains a small head. Light, milky palate and a light, wheaty nose. Overripe banana on the tongue. Kind of muted/bland. Meh.
