On tap at Iron Hill, our fourth stop on the RBSG bus trip. Pours a clear orange gold with a thin white head. Sweet, citrus and clean caramel and toast. Citrus and caramel. A little empty, but still decent enough. Long grapefruit finish. decaturstevo (6341) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - JUN 11, 2011
Orange/amber pour with white head and lace. Resiny, wheat, and bread aroma. Sweet caramel malt with a nice resiny bitter. Medium bodied but a bit fizzy. MrChopin (4304) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - JUN 11, 2011
transparent amber, thin cream ring. Nose is caramel, heavy grapefruit and earth freshness, light citrus. Flavor of caramel and sugar at the front, light heat middle, bit of short finish, dry husks and sugar flavor. Malt throughout, light fruit balance, but overall one-sided. Tap. Golden amber with small white head. Nose shows lots of hops, sorta akin to a "red" ipa. Messy, dirty hops, with some heavy astringency. Meh. blipp (9504) - La Mesa, California, USA - JUN 7, 2011
Draft. Pours amber with an off white head. Citric hoppy aroma with pale malts and lighter floral and piney notes. The flavor has flowery hops, lightly sweet malts and light citric notes. Pretty good.

Tap at Iron Hill West Chester for RBSG 2011. Pours clear orange with no head formation. Nose is cheesy hops and orange candies...oh joy. Taste is bitter orange candies and candy corn. Feels syrupy sweet with mild spicy tamarind. Not my style. yespr (46805) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - JUN 7, 2011
From tap. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is fruity hoppy and slight caramelish. Bitter, solid fruity and bitter. Slight sweet caramelish malt note. Bitter and bone dry into the finish. Ends dry and bitter. pineypower (3346) - Ocean County, New Jersey, USA - JUN 6, 2011
Draft at Iron Hill West Chester. Pours a clear moderate copper/amber color with a nice thin off white head. Aroma is of citrus and pine hops with some lingering malt sweetness. Taste is nice and hoppy, lots of juicy citrus notes, some pine and a slight lingering malt sweetness, but rightfully so, the hops take center stage in this one. jtclockwork (16955) - , New Jersey, USA - JUN 5, 2011
Draft at Brewpub. Pours clear amber. Nose/taste of pine, hops and caramel malt. Dry piney finish. Medium body. Decent. obxdude10 (2358) - Pottstown, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 4, 2011
I thought it was a great IPA! I really enjoyed my pint of this at the West Chester location. The Hopzilla poured an amber color with a big, thick and rich off-white head. The nose featured plenty of floral notes, with hops, resin, grass, hay and spices. The body was perfectly balanced, with a smooth mouthfeel and pure drinkability. This is one of those beers that could you sit at either the bar or your home with a growler and enjoy all day and night long. The flavors were bitter, dry, floral and hoppy, but yet offered just the right amount of bready and sturdy maltiness to make this IPA truely enjoyable and delicious.
