This one is great, with a medium copper pour and fluffy, two-finger off-white head. The aroma is intense and hoppy, with a solid caramel malt and some tropical fruit notes. The flavor and palate are complex, well balanced, hoppy, fruity, with a solid caramel malty backbone. I growlered this one, and enjoyed every ounce. on draft @ iron hill Lancaster. Poured clear amber color with a one finger white head. Aroma is of very floral a piney hops. I was in love even before I tasted it. Taste is the same with hints of grapefruit and orange. Balanced well, at least for me. dnstone (3386) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - JAN 9, 2011
Strong fresh hop aroma. Cloudy gold with a nice white head. Smooth and hoppy...the hops are slightly earthy and linger nicely.

I thought it was a great IPA! I really enjoyed my pint of this at the West Chester location. The Hopzilla poured an amber color with a big, thick and rich off-white head. The nose featured plenty of floral notes, with hops, resin, grass, hay and spices. The body was perfectly balanced, with a smooth mouthfeel and pure drinkability. This is one of those beers that could you sit at either the bar or your home with a growler and enjoy all day and night long. The flavors were bitter, dry, floral and hoppy, but yet offered just the right amount of bready and sturdy maltiness to make this IPA truely enjoyable and delicious. On tap at the Phoenixville location. Pours a translucent golden amber with a foamy off white head that laced. Aroma of orange, lots of caramel malt, very hoppy with some floral as well. Flavor of chewy hops, pine, grapefruit, caramel, toffee, toasted malts, fruity esters and lots of hop bitterness.

Pours a clear copper color with a soapy white head. Nice aroma of hops and citrus and maybe some malts. Taste is citrusy up front with a bitter but enjoyable aftertaste. Hints of pine abound. Great beer! egajdzis (6502) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 3, 2009

Consumed while enjoying (as a non-participant) the Iron Hill Twilight Criterium cycling race / party. Full amber body with a nice intial frothy head, concave up just over the glass rim, nice! The aroma was assertive citrus and floral hops. The flavor followed, a strong and assertive ipa, citrus hops at the fore, tropical fruits and mangos well displayed throughout each sip with a nice firm malt balance/body, although I struggled to actually get a descriptive malt term, as the tropical fruits kinda came across as the malt base. Odd. A nice IPA, highly drinkable, moderately bitter. jcwattsrugger (12418) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - JUN 16, 2011
