COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This extra strong spicy Belgian pumpkin ale is truly a beer from the farm. It is unfiltered with a beautiful Burnt orange color. Ichabod’s nose is filled with flavors of the harvest including clove, allspice, cinnamon, and nutmeg. The palette is sweet with hints of roasted pumpkin, and caramel. There is a warming finish that is both fruity and aromatic. Over 6 pounds of pumpkin per barrel were added right to the mash. Drink enough and you’ll lose your head too!

UPDATED: NOV 9, 2016 Sampled on draft at the Media location this beer poured a dark bronze color with a medium sized foamy white head that left minimal lacing. The aroma was sweet and toasty with notes of cinnamon sugar, nutmeg and toasted caramel. The flavor was sweet cinnamon sugar, nutmeg, toasted caramel and clove. Very long finish. Moderately full bodied. Quite nice.

Really well-balanced, heavy-handed pumpkin beer. The Ichabod poured a dark amber color with a tan that left some beautiful, sticky lacing around the glass. Nothing in particular stuck out in the nose. The aroma was well-balanced with notes of pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon, toasted bread, alcohol and light, grassy hops. The body was strong and fairly thick, with plenty of pumpkin pie notes. There was a good amount of alcohol there as well, with hints of the nutmeg, cinnamon, toasted bread and light, floral hops.

Draft at Phoenixville. Pours hazy brownish coppery with tan head. Nose was pumpkin, spice, caramel malt. Tastes intense, with a pumpkin and pie spice flavor and dense, complex finish.

Dark orange-amber body, medium to thin off-white head, spotty lacing. Pumpkin bread, allspice, cinnamon, nutmeg, some toast, and toffee. Medium to full bodied with moderate sweetness throughout, lingering spiced finish.

Outstanding pumpkin! Light & creamy mouthfeel despite the high abv. Very sweet & still spicy. This works in every way! Very comparable to pumking! Love it!

Pours a deep amber/ruby with a medium white head. Aroma has yeasty fruitiness and mild clove and nutmeg. Flavor follows suit...more spices are evident...particularly allspice...some mild fruity/roasty malts...very belgian. Mouthfeel is full and the finish is very spicy...clove/allspice dominate.

Dark amber in color with a reddish tint. Big alcohol flavor and aroma. Nice pumpkin flavors and spices. This was a one and done beer. Lots of barrel flavors and a great finish.

Poured out of a pumpkin. Aroma of spices: nutmeg, clove and a hint of cinnamon. Pours deep bronze with little head. Tastes of clove, nutmeg and hints of yam and pumpkin. A little too much spice for my taste but otherwise good.
