Clear copper pour with aroma of caramel, tropical fruit, and pine. Lots of caramel sweetness with tropical fruits, and some pine at the end. Touch of alcohol. Very nice beer! DocLock (10975) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 28, 2015
Draft at Iron Hill Phoenixville. Clear dark straw pour with minimal off-white head. Fragrant piney hops in the nose, with citrus, pale malt. Tastes rich, very resiny, hoppy, tropical fruity, with some finishing sweetness and well hidden alcohol. Delicious. Ed5388 (3488) - Forked River, New Jersey, USA - JUN 18, 2014
On tap at Chestnut Hill brew pub on Father’s Day. Pours a clear deep golden color with a small foamy white head. Aroma of rubbing alcohol, caramel malt, and old citrus fruit. Taste is boozy and slightly vinous, with notes old grapefruit, and caramel malt. Maxbier (999) - Maryland, USA - APR 22, 2014
On tap in Lancaster. dark golden color with white lacy head. Aroma is boozey with tropical fruits (pinapple and citrus dominate). Maltly and a bit bitter up front. Mouth coating sweet palate. Well balanced big bitter with big maltyness w/o going overboard with either. Strong alcohol- needs to be sipped and savored. Nice example of a DIPA. reggiedunlop (3726) - The dub c, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 3, 2013
Pours clear orange/gold with a thin white head. Aroma has orange tea and lots of stonefruits. Flavor is a bit boozy/perfumey with some grapefruit and stonefruits...very bitter/boozy. Mouthfeel is medium/full and syrupy with a bitter boozy finish.

Orange colored body, medium sized off-white head, soapy lacing. resin, grapefruit, and then a minty-vegetal-like aftertaste. Medium bodied, a little sweet and boozy, moderate carbonation. Not my style of triple ipa. dagimp (1008) - Philly, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 23, 2013
On tap at the pub. How could I not order this beer with a name like this? Clear orange with a little sticky white head. Nose is pine and grapefruit. Mouthfeel is moderate and sticky. Taste is sweet and all hops. Mango, pineapple, orange, grapefruit ale all very present. Mild alcohol and bitterness bring up the rear. This is one massive West Coast IIPA. Tons of hops but very drinkable. Couldn't tell the abv at all. I would surely drink again.

On tap at Iron Hill in Chestnut Hill. Served in a goblet. Pours a clear orange-amber with a short white head and a bit of lacing. The nose has some tropical fruits, citrus, and quite a bit of alcohol. Flavor is similar. Some malt in the background and quite hot. Fairly bitter. Medium body with average carbonation. Hop character is overwhelmed by alcohol.
