[At GABF 2004] A clear yellow beer with a small disappearing white head. The aroma is hoppy and malty with a slight hint of alcohol. The flavor is primarily malty in the beginning, to end up with a dry hoppy end. Oakes (19013) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 28, 2002
Brewed and sampled at Newark, DE location. Bronze, malty, very straightforward character with some light toast and caramel and late flowery hop. hopdog (13102) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 8, 2008
On tap at the North Wales location. Poured a deeper and clear golden color with a very small sized head. Aroms of citrus, bread, and malty. Tastes of cookie dough, breadiness, and all around ’malty’. Some alcohol in the finish. DocLock (11108) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 3, 2004
Draft at North Wales. Pours deep gold with copper menisci. Aroma of malt, hops, fruit, some wheat and honey. Tastes malty, fruity, with a firm honey burst upon esophagination. Well balanced, nice complexity, and a great beer. Finished 3rd in my growler selections. blipp (9784) - La Mesa, California, USA - JUN 22, 2013
Draft. Pours gold with a white head. Grainy malty base, light sweet malty notes, and hints of earthy hops. Not bad.

Tap at Lancaster location. Pale golden beer. Aroma is lightly honeyish and sweet. Clean bready maltiness, a kiss of sulphur and a light minerally bitterness. Fresh and sweet and a pretty solid bock. egajdzis (6776) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 31, 2004
Poured a gold color with a very little white head. Toasty, doughy, sweet and malty aroma. Taste was bready, caramel malts, and a slight alcohol bite. decaturstevo (6343) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - JUN 11, 2011
Deep gold with creamy white head and lace. Sweet caramel malt aroma. Peppery and caramel and a light bitter finish. Medium bodied and a tad fizzy. Nice beer. Glouglouburp (6103) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 29, 2008
UPDATED: DEC 27, 2009 In short: An highly drinkable fruity lager with a good citrusy hopping. Good beer. ganache (6066) - New Jersey, USA - DEC 11, 2005
How: Tat at brewpub, North Wales location
The look: Clear golden body topped by a medium white head
In long: The attack is dried fruits, apple juice and citrus fruit juice. Then the hops kick-in with an unusual (for the style) american character. Sharp bitterness. Citrusy from start to finish. This is an absurdly drinkable, any more absurdly drinkable and we’d drink it from clown flower squirt held upside-down by the trunk of a socialist pink elephant.
Had on special one day in Newark and am thankful I did. Above-aveage bock, balanced and bubbly.
