Tap at Maple Shade. Opaque brown-black, a large and creamy tan head. Nose heavy chocolate and light roast, stronger alcohol with a little numbing, touch oxidized. Dried fruit (where I’m getting the strongest oxidation character) - berry, plum with molasses, raisin, toffee, heavy earth. Medium body, medium-strong bitterness, faintest hints of smoke and wood, though none should be here. Honestly, pretty skippable. Draft - Raisin and light vanilla. Deep mahogany and a nice beige head. Cinnamon and raisin with a dark fruity finish. I personally think it was a bit thin and maybe some chocolate malts may have balanced the flavours a bit. raymow (1789) - Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 17, 2014
on tap at Maple Shade - Definite flavors of cinnamon and vanilla. Sweet, but really good. pressboxjoe (464) - , New Jersey, USA - DEC 15, 2014
On tap at Maple Shade. Did not like the sour character of the bourbon-barrel-aged, but do like the regular version quite a bit. Oatmeal cookie in a glass is apt; I don’t like oatmeal cookies but I do like this, a sweet treat of a beer. Very, very drinkable, and unlike some sweet beers it’s not so cloying that you can’t have a second. I mean, it’s not like that for me, but it is quite sweet and cookielike, so perhaps not for everyone. I like it as much as I like my memory of Cigar City’s Oatmeal Raisin Cookie, which I seem not to have rated. dmac (6464) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - DEC 7, 2014
Growler picked up for me by Ed5388, thanks bro. Poured a good looking medium density super dark brown under an average sized super dense frothy deep beige head. Aroma of dark toasted muffins, cinnamon, vanilla beads, grains and dry dark fruit skins. Great palate for a growler, medium mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation and a lingering dry aftertaste. Flavor is just as good if not slightly better than the aroma. Notes of cinnamon, muffin, well done cookie, vanilla beans, touch of raisin skins. This is a great beer.

64oz growler from Maple Shade. Drank with my squad after work. Pours a dark brown color with a finger of frothy tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, cinnamon, and dark fruit. Sort of resembles an oatmeal cookie. Taste is definitely more oatmeal cookie-ish compared to the aroma. Thick velvety mouthfeel. Lots of cinnamon and raisin, with oats, roasted malt, and hints of cocoa. Solid beer closey22 (2105) - Mt. Laurel, New Jersey, USA - NOV 27, 2013

Tap at Maple Shade. Pours out a very dark brown color with a thin tan head. Aroma is of straight up fresh baked oatmeal raisin cookies, oats, cinnamon, light vanilla, raisins and all...and a slight bit of some cocoa notes, this smells amazing! Taste is also of a liquid freshly baked oatmeal cookie, straight up. Sweet, grainy oats, raisins, cinnamon, vanilla bean, very light chocolate notes in the background and an ever so slight prescience of bitterness ion the end. Mouthfeel is smooth, creamy and well suited to the beer. This is some really great stuff that I hope becomes a regular. keanex (1799) - Atco, New Jersey, USA - NOV 14, 2012
On nitro tap at Iron Hill Maple Shade.
Appearance: The body is near black with a deep garnet hue, thin creamy head with excellent retention thanks to the nitro pour.
Aroma: This smells exactly like an oatmeal raisin cookie, lightly spiced and very sweet with vanilla aromas.
Taste: Tastes like a liquified oatmeal cookie, sweet and very tasty.
Palate: Velvety smooth body.
Overall: This is exactly what you would expect when reading the description, it hits all the marks. Rush out to get this now before it’s gone!
