Sample at Iron Hill, pours clearish golden with small medium white head. Notes of vanilla, grass, lemon, chalk, marshmallow and malt. Flavor is not too pilsnery, it’s belgian blonde or golden ale like with some dry ashy hopping. Body is medium. User37895 (3042) - - NOV 12, 2011
On draft at the IH Wilmington location. Appearance of a full golden to straw color, big head from the belgian yeast I guess. The aroma was bready, yeasty, grassy, grainy. The flavor followed, and unfortunately, I didn’t dig the belgian elements mixed in with the pilsner base beer, just didn’t match, although it was definitely worth a shot and interesting. I appreciated it for that, but don’t ever intend to stock my fridge at home with such a concoction. Mouthfeel was invigorating, carbonation and faint spicey notes in there. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - SEP 26, 2011
Draft. Clear straw body, small white head. Aroma is medium sweet, grass, some biscuit, light pine. Taste is moderately sweet, straw/grass, some pine, light bread/biscuit. Quite bitter. Light-medium body, some crispness.
