Tap at IH WC location. Enjoyed with family. Poured gold and two finger white head. I am enjoying. Malty citrus aroma, hops for sure, a bit of metallic funk, malt and soil, all keep it pretty light. Smooth character, not half that bad.

At Ardmore gold thin white head; aroma is malty grainy; Flava is balanced sweet malt and dry bitter grain; feels medium light with great fizzy zing; finsihes dry bitter

On tap at Chestnut Hill brew pub on Father’s Day. Pours a clear golden color with a small foamy white head. Aroma and taste mimic each other with notes if toasted grain, old citrus fruit, and yeast.

Pours golden yellow with an aroma of grain and toasted malt. Mostly grain flavor with hint of spice, and touch of hops. Decent beer.

Backlog...late 2011/early 2012...probably tap @ WC iron hill...pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aroma of bread, grains, straw. Flavor has light breadiness, toasty malts, and mild grassiness. Mouthfeel is light/medium and the finish is crisp.

On tap at Chestnut Hill location. Clear amber/golden. Thin white head. Very faint nose, maybe a hint of malt/bready. Crisp hop bite, light malt profile, slight corn flavor. Was hoping for more malt/body on this. To me, a true Helles has that increased body.

transparent gold, thin white ring for a head. Nose is very dusty grain, bordering on hay, light honey, really snappy. Flavor is light dust and manure, honey, short finish, not quite as dusty as the nose. Very drinkable, fantastic in fact.

On tap at the Lancaster location on Memorial Day 2011. Pours a clean golden color with a good white head and a bit of light lacing on the way down. The nose brings forward some light grainy malt plus a moderate amount of floral hops. The flavor is really quite nice, distributing the flavors of the grain and light floral hopping quite well. Very crisp. Light with good carbonation. Very refreshing. Something I would definitely have again. Serving type: on-tap Reviewed on: 06-03-2011
