Appearance: Pitch black body, dense tan head.
Aroma: Dark chocolate and roasted malts.
Taste: Lots of chocolate and a solid roasted malt backing.
Palate: Creamy bodied, soft carbonation.
Overall: This is an excellent oatmeal stout. If this were bottled I would buy it often.
Draft, from P-vllle. This one pours hazy dark brown with aroma of oaty molasses, chocoff, and roasty malt. The flavor is oaty, on the sweet side, rich, with chocoff and oats. This one is very good, and IMHO underrated by about 0.5-0.7. JB175 (1665) - Bucks County, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 21, 2007
Nitro @ Media. Sweet roast-malty aroma with hints of chocolate and coffee. Taste is very sweet & creamy with smooth roasted oat & barley taste plus hints of chocolate. Not very thick, but good for a basic sweet stout. Tasty one that is sure to please. beachbum25 (1092) - Powellville, Maryland, USA - DEC 11, 2007
Draft @ Newark-Pours dark brown w/a carbonating "Guiness" type pour. Kept it’s head thru the brew. Aroma of cookie dough. Bittersweet flavor of oatmeal, chocolate chip, bread dough & sugar. Kind of like drinking an oatmeal, chocolate chip cookie. This was very enjoyable, quite smooth & easy to drink. Great after dinner brew. Jesterdeal (1985) - Marlton, New Jersey, USA - APR 19, 2013
Aroma of roast dark coffee and slight dark fruits. Pours black with a chunky blonde head. Tasted super roasty with coffee, malt and a slight brackish iron taste. Solid stout.

Nitro Tap at Iron Hill Maple Shade. Pours a dark brown with a thick foam head. Some light comes through. Flavors are dark roasts, mostly, with a slight sweetness on the finish. sonnycheeba (5967) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - DEC 9, 2011
Cask pour @ brewpub. Color is dark brown with thin tan head; minimal lacing. Sweet aroma with coffee and chocolate notes. Initial flavor is semi-sweet, but levels out with dry coffee and chocolate notes. Very nice beer and easy to drink. stegosaurus (1882) - Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 1, 2007
North Wales location. On Nitro. Pours murky dark brown with a creamy head. Aroma of roast, coffee, and chocolate. The flavor is prodominately roast and coffee, with some traces of choclate, and a very mild hoppy presence. Nice thick body, lacks any punch or bite. Good brew. axilla (962) - New Providence, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 28, 2007
Newark Poured dark brown with a "Guiness" looking head and cascading carnonation. Nitrous induced I believe. Aroma is oatmeal with chocolate chips and sugar. Flavor starts off with a semi sweet brown sugar and oat taste followed by some mild chocolate and roasted malts.
