Amber in color with a medium beige head. Aroma of caramel malts, bread, roasted nuts. Not too sweet, just right. Very easy to drink and pairs well with your standard German fare. User37895 (3085) - - JUN 7, 2006
Poured an orange to light brown color with a very nice head that laced great. Excellent showing of carbonation rising to the surface through the translucent beer. The aroma was nil to nothing, very hard to pick up (even the breadiness that their description advertised). The flavor was nice and malty (definitely bready in flavor) with an underlying bitterness that helped keep the finish straight and balanced. Spices were lacking and there was a bubble gum aspect to the flavor up until the aftertaste, where it vanished. Mouthfeel was moderate bodied with definite carbonation. Biggest knock on this one was the absence of spicing in the flavor profile. adrian910ss (2606) - Doylestown, PA, USA - SEP 13, 2008
On draft at the North Wales location. Pours a clear coppery amber with a medium sized beige head. Aroma of nuts, light fruit and hops. Taste is hoppy with hints of nuts and light grains. Hoppier than most Octoberfests. michael-pollack (4959) - King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 16, 2009
Draught at Phoenixville BrewPub (at 7.7%ABV): Aroma of malts, malty sweetness, slight maple syrup, and a hint of nuts. Poured amber in color with a large, rocky, creamy, tan head that lasted throughout. Very good lacing. Clear. Sparkling. Lightly sweet, slightly bitter, flavor. Tastes of malts, , earth, light nuts, and dried leaves. Medium body. Lightly dry, slightly syrupy texture. Average carbonation. Malt and dry leaf finish is lightly dry. 7.7%ABV is totally hidden. A nice Oktoberfest. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - DEC 18, 2010

Pours a dark amber with a medium tan head...nice lacing. Aroma has some roastiness and nuttiness...bready as billed. Flavor follows suit and has nice earthy notes...faint spice and bitterness in the back end. Mouthfeel is lively and refreshing with a dry bitter/roasty finish.
