From bottle, blind tasting at Papsoes - beer no 13. Pours hazy orange with a lacing off-white head. Astringent hoppy citric/herbal aroma. Dry. Flavour has a slight woody note to a medium dry malty aroma. Somewhat herbal. Finish holds a slight liqourice note to a rather dry finish without getting too bitter. fiulijn (20427) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 13, 2007

Bottled. An unclear amber beer with a thin tan head. The aroma is sweet hoppy with a light touch of malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of over ripe fruits, leading to a dry finish where the fruity note carries thru. The body is thin. Thanks Papsoe for sharing. Courtesy boboski. 2005. Amber pour topped by a small, creamy, tan cap. Nose is a little off- musty, vegetal, rich caramel, subtle cocoa, airy yeast. Flavor is much better- toasted caramel/toffee, cocoa powder, dried and fresh dark fruit, bready malt, and a light dose of dry, airy yeast. Full body, balanced carbonation. Excepting the aroma, a solid brew.
