BCTC. Pours a hazy yellow gold with a thin white head. Cheesy, candy corn, acetaldehyde. Smooth and tangy. Decent easy drinking saison.

Bottle at BCTC 2009: Hazy golden dense white head. Bright aroma- lemony with a touch of bretty character and white pepper. Crisp lively feel on the palate. Dry bright flavor with some mild brux character- leathery and lemony citruses mesh with a mineral dryness and white pepper. Dry and spicy. A nice Saison.

Had a chance to sample this one at the Iron Hill Media while I was there. Pretty nice pour, hazy straw yellow, with a nice fluffy head and modest retention. The nose isn’t what it could be, with some fairly by-the-number yeast notes and some soft fruits in there for good measure. Full mouthfeel, and a nice lingering finish. The flavor is enjoyable, with yeast and fruits playing around nicely against a solid malt backdrop. But overall it’s nothing to really write home about.

750ml Bottle: Aroma of yeast, slight coriander, and spices. Poured golden/yellow/flaxen in color with a small to medium-sized white head that diminished but lasted around the edges. Cloudy. Sparkling. Full of tiny particles throughout. Flavor of yeast, slight citrus, and some spices. Medium body. Chalky, fizzy, texture. Lively carbonation. Yeasty, slightly citric, lightly dry finish.

Bottle on V day. Fairly sweet, light on the spicey aspects that typically make saisons great. Went really well with Filet Mignon, but just didnt have a ton going on, easy drinker, but a little lacking in the flavor department.

(11/8/08) Draught sample at the brewpub in North Wales. Clear golden. Aroma of cooked corn and some fruits. Sweetish flavor with some malt, fruits, citrus and some spiciness. Medium-bodied.

Tap@WestChester. Very Spicy, but pretty good. Glad it was a 4oz sample, though.
