On tap at Iron Hill Phoenixville, PA. Pours dark brown with long lasting, off-white, creamy head. Aroma is of prunes, coffee, herbal hops, toasted, nutty malt. Body is medium and smooth. Tap at Maple Shade. Pours out, well pretty darn close to black with a small white head. Aroma is of chocolate, light roasty earth and a touch of bitterness. Taste is of nice chocolate notes, some sweet caramel, mild roast, earth and slight bitterness on the finish. Smooth drinking.

Draft at Maple Shade. Wow is this sessionsble. Poured a clear orangey/ chocolate brown and a foamy light beige head. Chocolate nose with a more grainy flavor along with some toast, light citrus and a hint of chocolate. Nice. ROGUE (2215) - Lewes, Delaware, USA - FEB 2, 2011
On tap at Wilmington brewpub. Pours a deep cola brown with a one finger light tan head that leaves light lace. The aroma is bready with dark roast, chocolate, and caramel. Taste has grainy burnt roasty malts that dominate, with a sweetness of chocolate and caramel. All is balanced by a bitter citric hoppiness that is present but not overwhelming. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with a nice creaminess.
