Draft. Solid, modern hoppy IPA. Above average hoppy aroma and flavor. Appropriately bitter flavor and finish. Very pleasant example of the current crop of IPAs.

alobar (3778) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 4, 2016
Clear golden orange pour with aroma of tropical fruit, biscuit, and pine. Tropical fruit flavor with some bread and pine with a hop bite at the back end. Very nice.

DocLock (10683) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 9, 2015
Draft at Phoenixville and double growlered tonight. Pours hazy straw colored with off-white head. Nose is piney hops, Sauvin, Amarillo, and Citrs, with layered tropical fruit. Complex taste with the juicy Citra and tropical fruit up front, then the bitter Sauvin late. A great hybrid of hybrid hops.

3.2
Goodgrief (2028) - Middletown, Delaware, USA - FEB 14, 2014
On tap at Wilmington. Clear orange pour, no head. Citrusy aroma. Man, this is hoppy. By far the most bitter Iron Hill beer ever. The problem is that the citrus flavor was that if a slightly spoiled orange...slightly sewerlike. It wasn’t terrific.

2.7
MrChopin (4304) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - DEC 18, 2011
honey-orange with a decent white head, considerable lacing. Nose is orange sweetness, cake frosting and marshmallow masking malt base. Flavor is orange candy and paper across front, light caramel and pine mid before earthy grapefruit bitterness in the finish.

3.4
BeerandBlues2 (13303) - Escondido, California, USA - DEC 9, 2011
Tap - Wilmington. Pours clear amber with a medium, creamy white head, long retention with excellent lacing. Aroma is fruity, citrus, and floral hops, tropical fruity esters, cereal and biscuit malt. Flavor is malt backbone with heavy hops, moderate bitterness, fruity esters, light earthy notes and a dry finish. Medium body, warmth, and carbonation.

3.7
sonnycheeba (5988) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - DEC 9, 2011
Draft @ brewpub. Pours murky orange with thin white head. Aroma was mostly hops with hints of grapefruit and some floral notes. Flavor is what you’d expect out of a good, standard IPA. Great hoppy taste with medium carbonation and finishes with grapefruit flavors. Good IPA.

3.1
