Awesome stout! Very complex, beautiful and delicious. I sampled this at the West Chester restaurant. Shokolad poured a pitch black color with tan head that laced for days. The nose was enticing, with layered notes of chocolate, vanilla, bitter hops and dark malts. The body was full but extremely smooth and drinkable. The chocolate, vanilla, hops and dark malts were present in the flavors, too, with some cocoa, cream and a hint of warming alcohol coming along. The finish was rich, creamy and sweet. Fantastic stout! MadRobin (2988) - Silver Spring, Maryland, USA - JUN 18, 2014

On tap Wilmington. I don’t understand the non-awesome ratings on this. It’s the Russian Impy infused with chocolate ? Dark pour, one finger head. Aroma of chocolate and coffee. Sweet, but not cloying. Loads of cocoa, hints of vanilla and a strong roasted base. Worth making a special trip for. reggiedunlop (3724) - The dub c, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 17, 2014
pours dark brown with a medium tan head. aroma has nice dark chocolate...vanilla is faint. flavor follows suit...great dark chocolate rounded out with just a touch of faint but present vanilla...desserty. mouthfeel is medium and the finish has mild dark fruit creeping to very dark chocolate. desserty and tasty...hides the ABV well. fonefan (49331) - VestJylland, DENMARK - DEC 30, 2012

On tap at Iron Hill Wilmington. Pours a deep black color with a half finger light tan head that dissapates quickly. Smell is huge dark chocolate and milk chocolate with a hint of vanilla. Taste starts with a sweet dark chocolate flavor, followed by some licorice notes and roasted malt. The finish brings in a chocolate syrup sweetness followed by a burnt roastiness. Full bodied, creamy texture. Finish is semi dry and intensely bitter, lingering on the palate for some time.
