Pours a hazy orange color with a medium white head...looks like a weissebier. Aroma has light smoke atop orange tea notes. Flavor follows suit but steps up the smoke and adds very minor metallic and band aid notes with a hint of caramel. Mouthfeel is medium and the finish is slightly syrupy fruit with light smoke. At the Iron Hill Belgium Comes to West Chester event yesterday. Blonde. A bit bland and not the best idea, but not offensive. Smoke not overpowering, but not all that welcome.

On tap at the North Wales location. Poured a deeper yellow, almost gold color with a smaller sized head. Nice smokey aromas that came out as it warmed up with some bready/biscuit. Tastes of the same with a slightly sweet finish. Some fruitiness lurking in the background. I liked the smoke characteristics.BVery (11361) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - JUN 3, 2012
