Growler fill from Phoenixville location. Pours cloudy nut brown with just a trace of a bone-colored head. Caramel aroma with a bit of a nutty note. Maybe a touch of pine. Full body, a touch syrupy. Light boozy note in the finish. Flavor of caramel with a touch of citrusy pine underneath.

Chocolate brown color with tan head. Cocoa and coffee beans, maple syrup, oak, malt and yeast. Medium-thick texture, oaky and nutty finish. Truly a good brown ale.

Sampled this on draft at the Phoenixville location. The beer poured a brown color with quite a bit of brown sugar and whiskey in the aroma. The flavors were fairly sweet, with some more hints of brown sugar, maple syrup, nuts and roasted caramel malt. The finish contained a lot of alcohol and whiskey notes. This beer almost tastes like a carbonated and creamy version of Jack Daniels.

Draft at IH Phoenixville. Poured hazy dark brown with khaki head. Nose was vienna malty, with walnut, maple syrup, and cacao. Tasted rich and complex, with a nice malt up front, the maple syrup, cacao, and nuts kicking in shortly afterward, and an earthy and nutty finish. The term imperial nut brown ale is apropos for this one, and I enjoyed it immensely.

Draught at Phoenixville BrewPub: Aroma of malt, cocoa, nuts, maple syrup, and dust. Poured very deep amber/brown in color with a large, creamy, dense, rocky, off-white/tan head that diminished but lasted throughout. Hazy. Very sparkling. Excellent lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of malt, cocoa, nuts, light maple syrup, and dust. Medium body. Chalky texture. Soft to average carbonation. Lightly sweet, sightly bitter, malt, cocoa, slight maple syrup, cocoa, finish is chalky and dry. 8%ABV is completely hidden throughout.
