On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear tawny ruby amber with a thin white head. Pumpkin and caramel on the nose, a touch of dusty cinnamon and other spices. Fruity. Medium bodied, warming alcohol, sweet caramel and pumpkin spice. Alcohol lingers into the finish, more burnt sugar and yeast. Dry bitter spices. retinadoc (243) - - OCT 4, 2015
Draft. Very sweet, overpoweringly so. The sugar overwhelms the more subtle pumpkin and spice flavors. Too strong and too sweet to drink much of this. raymow (1787) - Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 26, 2015
on tap at Maple Shade - tastes like a strong pumpkin ale. You can really taste the alcohol. Good but I like the regular pumpkin ale better. jcwattsrugger (12524) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - NOV 15, 2013
750 bottle-tight foamy lt tan head with trailing lace-copper. A-vegetal, spice, pumpkin, med malt, cinnamon. T-pumpkin, spice hops, med malt-caramel/cinnamon. jsquire (4599) - St. Marys, Ohio, USA - OCT 31, 2013
Jewel like dark ruby color with no head. The bottle only gave a soft "pop" when I took off the cork. Nose of spice and alcohol. Very smooth mouth feel and nice warming alcohol. Pie spice flavors with cinnamon and nutmeg, but the spice is pretty subtle. Dark caramel and molasses sweetness. There is an alcohol kick with out being intrusive.

Aroma of great spice s. Nutmeg, allspice and sweet potato. Pours ruby red with good bubbly lacing. Tastes wonderfil with pumpkin pie, nutmeg, and brown sugar. One of the best pumpkin beers. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - MAY 3, 2013
Bottle:   Dark caramel hued amber, moderate frothy tannish head, nice lacing.   Cinnamon and nutmeg up front, pumpkin pie towards the back, even with a bit of crust.   Smells great!   Even seems to have a touch of
barrel aging, or perhaps rum?   Probably my imagination.   Nice malty body, spicy, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, with actual pumpkin pie like flavor.   I don’t think I have had one this good since the early versions of Pumking.
Body and mouthfeel are full to moderate.   Nice malty and spicy finish.   Warming but not alcoholic.   Good stuff, but certainly very pricey!
