Draft. Very punchy grapefruit aroma and flavor. Overly hoppy, and renders this IPA unbalanced. Sweet and bitter finish. Smooths out with food. Back off one notch on the hops and make it a little dryer, and this would be a great IPA.

Draft at iron hill Lancaster. Pours golden with a white head. Leaves some lacing in the glass. Big pine on the nose and tongue with a hint of needles. Finished clean. I like my double IPA's piney and this is a good example. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours golden orange with a one finger white off white head with pretty lacing. Aroma is of citrus, pine, tropical fruits, sweet malts, and some light danknes. Taste is pretty similar to the aroma. Has a medium body with with a moderately bitter, semi dry, medium-long finish. Overall, a pretty nice DIPA.

PhillyCraft (7990) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 25, 2014
On tap, pours a clearish orange with medium tiny bubbled white head. Good lacing. Aromas are wet hops, cheese, pine, and sugar. Taste is a nice blend of hops nothing real juicy here but relatively balanced and better than 90% of the stuff they put on.

keanex (1799) - Atco, New Jersey, USA - OCT 19, 2013
On tap at Iron Hill Vorhees.

Appearance: Clear amber body with a creamy light tan head which settles into a dense coating.

Aroma: Huge sweet orange, mango and light floral qualities.

Taste: Light to moderate bitterness, big orange and grapefruit with hints of mango on the finish.

Palate: Medium bodied, moderate to light carbonation.

Overall: Pretty solid IPA, really flavorful, though I wish it toned the orange down a bit. Nice beer though.

Pours clear amber with an ample head. Nice pine and citrus aroma over a malt base. The flavor has the sweet malt up front with the hops coming through in the back. Very solid brew.
