Draft at Newark. Amber body with a pillowy white head. Aroma of citrusy hops, with an abundance of the same in the flavor. Good amount of bitterness along with the sweet. Tart finish. Kind of one-dimensional, but it’s a tasty dimension so I like it. Even better on cask (but what isn’t?) GMCC2181 (1612) - Newark, Delaware, USA - NOV 15, 2011
Draft in Newark: Light orange in color, small head. Decent aroma of bitter hops, slight flowerish. Taste is a little on the sweet side.... Intially chewy grains and bitter, followed by a malty caramel sweetness. Not bad. Medium body. Overall: Decent IPA User37895 (3042) - - NOV 12, 2011
Pour was orange with a decent initial head. The aroma was biscuity with some caramel and woodsy notes. The flavor was malty biscuits, caramel, slightly sticky sweet malt base, wood and woodsy notes, bitter hop balance, more of what I wanted out of that altbier, this somewhat a golden alt. Nutty presence with the spicey hops in the finish. Mouthfeel was moderate in body and carbonation.
