Similar in appearance to the pig iron. Aroma of coffee: dark, roasted malts. Taste is immediately strong coffee, roasted, tree, barley. Medium body, oily. Thought it was espresso coffee I was drinking. Fooled everyone, reggiedunlop (3725) - The dub c, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 9, 2012
On cask...pour black with a medium tan head. Aroma has excellent coffee and slightly sweet dark chocolate notes...mild vanilla. Flavor has vanilla and coffee blending nicely...some dark chocolate and good roastiness. Mouthfeel is light/medium with a roasty/coffee finish. Great low ABV beer that lets the ingredients shine!
