Draft at IHP event. Poured hazy golden with white head. Nose is tart fruit, notes of lactose, hops. Tastes tart, fruity, complex, with notes of peach and pear.

Growler. Cloudy golden yellow color, flat. Aroma of dusty peach and citrus. Taste is softly sour lemon, straw, subtle grapefruit. Resembles a very nice lambik.

Pours a hazy amber with a medium white head. Aroma has light wheaty notes, sour cherry/faint vinegar. Flavor has some vinous and oaky notes, nice tart/sour cherry and balsamic like notes, and leather...leaning towards an oude bruin just a bit...some tart lemon. Mouthfeel is light and silky with a tart/sour dry oaky finish. Very nice.

Golden metallic pour with a fair amount of white head. Aroma of fruits, pine, hop, and sugar. Taste is subtle. Some apple, grass, wheat, hop. Somewhat cidery. Very thin body. Mild carbonation. This beer is actually a butchered batch of their vienna red.

Pours a clear medium yellow-straw color with a thin, foamy white head. Some fuzz and not much retention. A slight reddish tint to it.
The nose starts out with a fairly heavy lactic character along with some mild breadiness and a strong dose of cherry. Flavor is quite acidic, nearly to the point of being bracing. However, the acidity is all lactic and fairly smooth for its level. No acetic character. Underlying cherry and mild earth.
Body is fairly light with good carbonation and a very dry finish. Acidity is high.
Overall, this is the prototypical American Wild Ale with quite a bit of lactic acidity and mild fruitiness, but not enough depth to back things up and really lacking in complexity compared with Belgian examples.
