Golden colored body, median to thin white head, spotty lacing. Simple, clean citric and piney hop notes. Some grapefruit and lemon zest. Light semi-sweet grains come in gently. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation, mild bitterness. ganache (5961) - New Jersey, USA - AUG 5, 2014
Tap in Newark. Amber-copper body, very lacing bright white head. Strongly bitter, soapy with a resin wallop, lots of pine underneath with smoothed-out grapefruit. Gets a bit of a sludgy finish like many IIPAs but malt is only avg. Touch minerally and sweet, oily, touch of rubbery astringency. Full body, heavy. willblake (2654) - Bel Air, Maryland, USA - JUL 27, 2014

On tap at Newark brewpub. Pours an amber color with a thin creamy whitish head. Aroma is fresh citrusy hops with tangerine and grapefruit. Tastes of creamy, fresh citrusy hops with a mild bitterness and a touch of grains. A lot more bitterness comes through in the finish. Medium body, medium carbonation and creamy texture.

Amber color with a white head. Aroma of pine, citrus, and hops. A little citrus flavor with a solid hop bite. Overall, a solid IPA.

On cask at the Newark location, poured a straw to orange color, nice head and lacing. The aroma was citrus and pine hops primarily. The flavor had a earthy faint malt flavor, citrus and resinous hops that were assertive and nicely done, as one of the better IH IPAs I’ve had. Mouthfeel was moderate to slightly lighter than that for the style. Good hop bite to the finish.
