On Tap-Newark-Dark colored w/a moderate tan head. Spiced aromas. Malty flavor of roasted nuts, caramel, molasses, cinnamon, brown sugar, & allspice. Had a good bit of carbonation to it. This was a little different, but it was enjoyable. Long, spiced finish, it did warm you up. pilgrimoutlaw (888) - Wayne, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 19, 2012
On tap at Phoenixville. Tastes like Jaegermeister. Pours brown with tan head. Cinnamon, cloves, brown sugar, ginger. Moderately sweet, low bitterness. Full, creamy bodied. Decent winter beer, but not my cup of tea. HeadyDE (885) - Delaware, USA - DEC 22, 2012
Sample draft at newark brewpub..served with a cinnamon sugar rimmed glass..negative expectations going into this one but wanted to try anyway..cant say very much positive about this.the most memorable thing about this is the odd rimming of the glass, and not in a good way..this smells and tastes like a summer sipper to me..after having some more favorful and better winter warmers recently..this offering just doesnt cut it..
