Tried this one back in September. Tasted on Draught and from the bottle, got the same results from each. I have to admit this is kind of bland. Settles into the N/A territory of Birell or Erdinger Leicht with its supple graininess and lack of direction. It pours a bright, sparkling, medium gold - at times it pours hazy - with a soapy white head that flattens out to a film and manages only minimal legs. Aroma has a wheaty tartness, the scent of fell, slowly fermenting lemons and maybe some breakfast cereal as a base. It’s bready and grainy in the mouth and again borders the sour wheat stakes with fervour. It is very light in body and only prickly upon the tongue but seemingly watery soft in back. Finish has dry wheaty grains that linger - also sourish and slightly tart. That’s it really. This one is still available on draught so another try seems fair. Otherwise it’s not this brewers best work.
